How is the EmotionAll® Score calculated?

The EmotionAll® Score is a composite overall score. It consists of:

  • 20% Attraction
  • 20% Engagement
  • 30% Retention
  • 30% Impact

Each of the constituent metrics (Attraction, Retention, Engagement, and Impact), as well as the overall EmotionAll® score are assigned a 1-10 score based on their relative distribution. So for example, a video's Retention level is determined, and then that level is ranked against all the other videos in our database, and the video is assigned a 1-10 Retention score. The constituent metrics are then combined together (with their respective weightings) to give one score, and that score is then ranked against the rest of the database to determine the overall EmotionAll® Score.
