Yes, we can test both video and static images - anything from adverts, to viral content, to animatics, to package designs and concepts – amongst others.
However, the level of emotion that is evoked can depend on the type of stimuli. For instance, we often see that responses to animatics, still images, and web/package designs and concepts are muted in comparison to TV or online video content. That being said, we have norms available by a number of media types for direct comparison to similar content.
